These two cards are my ATC's that I made today for the SCS Challenges. There were 8 challenges, but this was the only one I had time to try. Silly me, a year ago I was thinking who wants to spend all their time making little cards when we can't give them away? Well, you can turn this into full cards, just attach this ATC, add some layers or embellishments and there you have it!!!
FYI....Artist Trading Cards measure 3 1/2 x 2 1/2....give them a try!!

Exciting news...... I'm picking Amy up from the airport tomorrow and that means I get to pick her brain about Convention for at least 45 minutes....yippie!!! (maybe I'll even drive slow so I'll have even more time...just kidding...everyone that knows me, knows I can't drive slow!!)

This is another card I made for the SCS Challenges. This was a sketch challenge and I struggled to find the perfect circle to go there.....you should have seen me digging thru my stamps!! I'm happy I finished it... hope I get time to do more of the Challenges this weekend!!

This is one of the cards I made for a Challenge on SCS. They're hosting Dirty Dare Challenges this week and it's a perfect time to do this so I don't think about what I'm missing at Convention!!!! This challenge was submitted by a super creative lady "Anna" and the challenge was to make a card either for a pet, about a pet..etc. So, I dug through my animal stamps and this is what I came up with.
The next card was my Warm up card....I thought is was cute but missing something.

Oh my gosh!! Isn't this the prettiest thing you've ever seen? I just can't tell you how much I love it. Dave came home for lunch yesterday and I kept holding it and saying I'm not worthy.....joking of course, but I really did say it :)

Here's what I've been working on the past couple days.... Convention gifts. My downline Amy and my friend Shelly are heading out tomorrow and I made these goodies for them. The name badges are for them to put on their bags when they check in at Convention, the notepad for notes, the folder to file their notes at home and a little chocolate. Once I got started I could have made alot more projects but I need more River Rock cardstock!!
Hope you girls have a blast and bring home a ton of ideas!!! I'll miss not being there this year!

Look what we just got......the New Harry Potter book!! Brook & I left our house at 11:30pm, thinking that since we reserved our copy we would just walk into Borders and pick it up. OH MY GOSH, the whole parking lot and all the ones near it was packed. We got to the check in stand and got our wrist ban and the lady said we might get our book by 2 or 3am. So, we waited 20 minutes, looked at list of bans again, making sure they we really did have the last ban available and decided to leave. But, see, my brain is always thinking. I said to Brook "hey, Walmart is open all night, maybe they'll have it" So, as we drove into the parking lot I knew they were going to have it, we walked in fast, got in line and we were walking out at 12:15....Yippie!!!! We're so happy, now we just gotta pray no one spills the beans and tells us the ending.

Don't you love the new catalog? I'm so happy that all three cards are using brand new sets!! And look I used new designer paper on two of the cards. I also used two hostess sets because now that I've got my first Stampers Club started, I know my customers are going to be earning these wonderful sets!! One more tidbit, I created all these cards, last week I cased almost everything because of time but these are all mine!

Another choice for my card class....yes, it's tomorrow and I'm still deciding....remember...I'm last minute Angie. I think the more stressed out I get the more creative I get, can that be true?
After seeing Rose Ann's card a few weeks ago I just knew I had to have this set, so what did I do? Called my Wonderful Friend (see her card is below) and she got it for me. Thanks girlfriend!!!!
I had to make the first one for my Sister.... I know, which one? Is is okay to make them both the same card? Hope so!! If you've heard me talk about my baby sister, she's feeling better but has more tests scheduled next week. As for Kim, she called me when I was working on this card and I stopped to help her set up a blog. Can't share it yet, she's getting filmed for a commerical next week (not sure I can mention the company until after it's been released) and she has to get her house in order. Wish I was there to help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need help!!! Which card do I use for my card class? Scroll down and look at the next card. This picture doesn't do the card justice!! The tree has glitter and makes it really pretty.
Yep, that's the New "Dashing" designer paper. Don't you love it? I always buy the new designer paper and then I don't want to use it (several reasons but none of them make sense). So, my new thing is I'm using it.... so what if I mess up or run out, I'll just buy more!!!

Here's the cards we made at my Card Class during my Open House. I normally charge $15 for this class, they make a total of 6 cards with envys (two each of the three designs).....but for my Open House I only charged $10 and then at the last minute I decided to offer half a class for $5. Isn't that a great idea?
A big huge Thank you to everyone that stopped by, even my downline girls!!!
Now to the cards, I just loved them and wanted to share with you where I got the ideas. I was all stressed out last week because after I got my large order it took me hours to assemble them and then I had to get ready for my Open House.... that without a card class was a huge task, especially because I want everything to look perfect.
So, what did I do?
I talked to a friend and she helped me get my head on straight. I told her what sets I had and why I bought them, for instance the friend wording, I had to have it as soon as I saw it!!!
Okay, back to the story so then we started brain storming and I CASED everything you see! Except I did some tweeking on all three. The first card (Batty Flowers) was created by Jen and when I saw it on SCS I knew we had to make it, I just love it!!!!
The 2nd card was created by Kendra ,isn't is so lovely? When I saw it I also knew I had to make it ....she used Cameo Coral and I've only used that color once, so I used Blush Blossom another color I had used very little but I think I really it!!
And the 3rd card is almost like the card in the catalog, except I used Baroque Motif instead of the background, I also used Chocolate cardstock instead of the 5/8 Grosgrain ribbon.
What am I doing this week? Getting ready for next Open House and Card Class!! Will I case or create (depends on how crazy my week gets, don't forget last week, my sister was really sick and I was considering heading to Tennessee and the freezer ordeal...I shouldn't remind myself...this week will be better!!!!)
Question for the day......Do you have crazy luck like a Soap Opera or are you friends with someone that has that kind of luck?

Quick post tonight....wanted to show you the cute little Love Notes that I used at my Open House! I had to order this set on my very first order and I just love it!! What's the set ??? Fun & Fast Notes...see it goes with Love Notes!! Here's a little tidbit of info for you...............
I put the words on the sides but one other thing I did was ...On the porcupine or hedgehodge, not sure what he is, anyway the wording was "thanks for sharing you with me" I cut off the "you" and now mine is "thanks for sharing with me" that's a phrase I can use a lot!!!! (I kept the word "you" but put in on the other end with the label.)
Thanks Tisha for telling me to share that info, I forget that some people don't think to cut off words they won't use. (tomorrow I'm going to post my goodies you brought me:)))

Now about my day, oh my gosh, it's just been a bad day!!! Won't go into all the details but will share that I discovered this morning that my son had left the freezer open. The big one in the basement, the one with all the beef, pizzas and seafood. It's an upright, so as you can imagine, everything was thawed...talk about yuk!!!!!!! (If that's the worst he's gonna do in his teenage years I can handle it. When I was a teen I burned our whole kitchen. I'm sure daddy doesn't want that reminder, but you know accidents happen!!!!!)
Enough about that....
