Happy Heart Day Bundle

Hi!

I thought of this idea last month and just didn't have the time to finish it...but here it goes...

Using the Happy Heart Day Bundle I created this kit for kids to make their own Valentines.  I used the smaller jar because this is my sample...but you could buy the larger jars at Walmart & fill it up!

What's in mine?  3 sheets of  Real Red cardstock 3 x 6, 3 sheets of Regal Rose cardstock 3 x 6, 6 small envelopes, 3 pencils, small bag of Hershey kisses (so they can eat them while they are coloring :)) 7 Stamped images from the Happy Heart Day stamp set (one in case of an oops). The image on the top and the tag are both attached with removable adhesive so they can color it and then put it back on.  Here's a picture of the side, so you can see the chocolate.... I put them in the medium cellophane bag because I didn't want chocolate getting on the cardstock or envelopes.
One more picture....this is what I was working on when I started feeling sick.  It didn't turn out the way I had planned but I'm sure my Brooke will  like it!!  (She's getting some major hardware in her mouth today so hopefully she'll be able to eat chocolate in 15 days!!  Ever heard of the Herbst appliance?)

Monogram Card

Good morning!

Isn't this card pretty?  Monday at club night Sally brought this card for me...thanks Sally, I really do love it!!! I may have to case it with all the Stampin' Up! Designer Paper.

Blog changes!!

Hello Stampers!

Today I'm making some changes....and for putting up with me, I'm giving a little goodie away. I'm adding a new blog.....I know, how can I manage another?  Read on and I promise it will all make sense!!!

Here's the details...................... Stampin' Academy Chic n Scratch Liveis my new blog...... where I'll put all my educational information.  I'm going to explain this as best I can.  Now that I'm doing Video Tutorials, its slowing my blog down and for those dear customers of mine that still  have dial up, they are not able to pull up my blog.....the content is too large...does that make sense?  In creating a new site, it will allow everyone to view my blog and if they want to see the Tutorials they can head over there.  I will always post the photo here on Chic n' Scratch and include a link to the Tutorial.  Let's hope this works!!  To the girls that have emailed me about my blog not loading...Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!  You motivated me to fix what wasn't working!!  As usual, I'm sure we'll run into a snag or two.....but just know I'm trying to cross all my t's and dot all my i's .... hee hee

Hostess Goodies

Good morning!

Today I'm sharing with you the goodies that I made for my hostess last night.  Melissa was the first hostess for my new Stampers 6 Club and today's her birthday. Happy Birthday to both of you!! (yep, she's a twin :)))

Remember yesterday when I said I was going to use the Pun Fun stamp set and make a bunch of cards? Since that's what I had on the brain, I decided to make a few card for Melissa. I love this stamp set so much I could almost buy two of them!! The jar of candy is what I give every month to my hostess and you can view some of the other pictures on my Stampers 6 Club Photo Album (on the right side of my blog).  I've used Candy Corn, M&M's and even the Blessing Mix!!

I've got lots more to share but I need to get caught up on some things.......See ya later!!

Good morning!!

I just couldn't resist showing you another Pun Fun card....but, I can't take credit for this one.  Amy came by yesterday and gave me this darling card....and we all know I love birds & the Pun Fun stamp set!!!  thanks Amy!!!

Lane swerve here.... do you want to know why I love birds?  My kids first pet was a Parakeet named Chirpy and he used to talk all the time....(I say he got that from me :)))  we loved him very much, but he passed away.   I never knew little parakeets could talk, did you?

Good morning stampers!!

Today I'm sharing with you a card I made for my niece.  This year, one of my goals is to not be late on any more birthdays...too late for January though....so sorry friends & family!!

I don't really need this card until March but see, I'm getting a head start.

This coming week, I'm going to make a whole set of cards using this Pun Fun stamp set..... I really love the images!!  And doesn't the Family Phrases match it perfectly?

This card looks like pink and chocolate...but it isn't...it's Basic Gray and Pretty in Pink....sorry... I took the picture at night and the color is slightly off.

Birthday Whimsy

Good morning!!

I know you saw this card yesterday...but in a different color.  Can I tell you I'm obsessed with this card?? I've been making them in all our colors.   I'm not sure which is my favorite...I might have to put it up for a vote next week because this card will be one of my cards for my Sale-a-bration Card Class on Feb. 5th.

Good morning!!

The card I'm sharing with you today is from my downline.... Jennifer.  Girl, you were very generous, thank you sooo much!  And you saved me...since I was busy getting ready for my Stampers 6 Club I didn't have time to stamp anything.  So, thank you for many reasons!!

I love this card and I'm sooo happy I have a Garden Whimsy card.  It's a stamp set that I've wanted but I've resisted buying it.  I also love how the ribbon is attached, I've never done that before, but I'm sure I will soon!!!

I'll share more of the cards later, I'm saving my favorite for last....hee hee

Nugget Purse

Good morning!

Isn't this Nugget Purse soooo cute?  My Stampers 6 Club meets tonight and this is one of the projects we're making. 

See the New Boho Blossoms Punch in the background?  I stamped the flower first and then punched it out....super fast & super easy!  I can't wait to make this with pink and chocolate!!

I also used two of my new favorite stamp sets... One of a Kind & Boho Backgrounds, you can see both of these sets on page 109 of the Spring & Summer Collection!

Busy day ahead... Chase and Brook are also home...have a Happy Martin Luther King day!

More Chocolate!!

Good  morning!

Today I'm sharing with you the Ghirardelli chocolate holder that I was playing with last week.  I think it's cute,  but felt something was off, maybe if I added a black circle behind the red. I could also change the Gingham Ribbon to the Black Grosgrain.  Oh well, I put it aside & got out my pink & brown because those are easy colors for me.

The Pun Fun stamp set is the skunk image and it's just too cute for words.  The background I used is Sprinkles, also darling, and the words are from Family Phrases.

Saturday Card

Good afternoon,

No stamping for me so I'm sharing Lise's card with you today. Isn't it so pretty?  She brought it over to show me the other day and I said let me take a picture so I can show it on my blog...thanks girlfriend..you saved me from having to stamp something fast today!! 

As a family we headed out to liner and a movie....did you catch that?  liner is my hubbys word for lunch and diner...we're Napoleon Dynamite fans so we come up with words like that all the time.  Do you have a favorite?  I think Chase may call it Dunch...but I can't remember!!  As for the movie....we're seeing the Bucket List.

Thank you Card

Hello!!

I made this card yesterday because I couldn't let the day get away and not stamp something.  Didn't it turn out cute?   I love cute little simple cards!!! Who will I send this to?  You know.......it's Happy Friday and if  you're on my mailing list, you know what that means!!

Let's talk about the card for just a second.....I noticed this stamp on page 18 (the hostess page) of the new Stampin' Up! catalog, the very first time I looked thru it and knew I had to get it !!  The stamp set is "For a Friend" and it's a level one hostess set, you can see the entire stamp set on page 21.   I also used the Polka Dot Background on Celery cardstock with Celery Ink.

Yesterday was soooo crazy busy..Dave home sick, Kids home for a snow day...Calendar Class....I'm kinda exhausted.  If I get some energy I just might surprise you and post again....but no promises.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Holder

Good morning!

Today's project is another goody that I make every year.  It's the Ghirardelli Chocolate Holder.  I think some people use it for a tea bag holder but personally, I like chocolate sooo much better!  And what better set to use than the New Sprinkles Background and Merci Sale-a-bration stamp set? 

Don't worry about looking for the instructions, this is going to be my next Video Tutorial.  That way you can see the inside and I can give you the dimensions.
