Pick a Petal Dragonfly!

Good morning!!

Isn't this card cute?  When I saw it on Laurie's blog, I knew I had to case it!! Several years ago I collected dragonflies & fairies (I kinda still do, but only white or antique ones) and when I saw it, I knew right away I was going to make one.  In fact, we're making one at my April Card class on the 14th.......but..... not this one.  I've got a prettier design in mind and I'll show you as soon as I can get it made.  If you'd like to register for my class or the kit, click here.

On this card I used the Pick a Petal stamp set for the wings and the greeting came from Just Celebrate (I'm not really obsessed with that set, it was on my desk and I thought the words "just because" really went with the dragonfly :)))

Big Deal Monograms!!

Good morning!

Quick post today....I didn't have much time to stamp yesterday so I decided to make something quick & easy.....a new monogram card!  Don't you love it? 

I used the Big Deal Alphabet Stamp set with Sweet Dreams (hostess level 2 set).  All the cards but one measure 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 (or 8 1/2 scored at 4 1/4)...but the one in the back is a full size. I had to try just one...but you know me...I like the smaller best!

April Card Kits

Good morning!!

I love this card!   I had "thanks" on the brain all day yesterday.  After working on my taxes for several days in a row, I realized I really owe several of my customers a note of thanks.  I really truly appreciate each and everyone of you....more than I can express!!

Have you seen the Thanks for Everything stamp set?   It's one of those sets that you need to have...... if you're big on the words thanks.  If you've emailed me before...you know that it's a word I use a lot!  I am a thankful person :)))

One more note pad!!

Good morning!!

I couldn't resist showing you one more notepad!!  I've used this notepad for years at my workshops and events.  It's super fast, super easy and cheap :O  Okay, maybe I wasn't supposed to tell ya that, especially if you've made them at one of my classes.

You can really spruce them up with some designer paper, ribbon and even some hodgepodge hardware!

Either later today or tomorrow, I'll share with you a video tutorial on how to make these....I'll also show you what the package looks like and where I get them....in other words.....to be continued...... :)

Chic n Scratch Notepad

Good morning,

I was playing with some notepads over the weekend and decided to get my notepad for Convention out of the way.  Our Stampin' Up! convention isn't  until July...but I wanted to go ahead and work on it.  Every year I take gifts for all my friends and all the girls in my group and this year..... I will finish them before I get on the plane (last minute Angie always packs her supplies to stamp in the room).

I really like this notepad....but....something is wrong...haven't figured it out yet.....I think it might be all the dots on it, kinda busy for me....don't be surprised if I show you three or four notepads by the time Convention gets here :)) 

Let me tell you what I do love about this notepad ....the Jumbo Outline Alphabet.....if you don't have it....you might better order it soon!!! I love it and you will too after I show you everything I've made with it.  (some of the items are a gift so it will be a little while before I show you.)

Easter Tic Tacs

Good morning!!

I'm happy to report, I'm alive and well!! The stomach bug has left and I had my first solid meal last night (I kinda think half the pain was from hunger :)

Friend Notepad

Good morning,

I wish I could tell you that I feel better....but I don't.  I tried to stamp several times yesterday..... but it just wasn't working.  I managed to make this notepad (but I had started it a few days ago). 

See the word "friend"?  that's in the Friendly Flowers stamp set and it's in the Occasions mini catalog. I'll show you more stuff with that later.

Bird-day & Rak

Good morning!!

Did I already show you this card?  I hope not....I think I showed it on my video tutorial last week.  (can you tell it's like day 7 of Spring Break??? :))

 

My next card is from another one of my club girls....Melissa.  Hey girl, hope your having fun in Texas (hope you're not near those floods!!).  I love how she made the envelope with our Five-in-One Card Cover Template (page 167 of the catalog).  I have it, but I've never used it.....but I will soon, thanks to Melissa :)))  I bet you didn't know that before Certainly Celery was in our color family....Mellow Moss was my favorite Stampin' Up! color!

Gift from a friend & contraband!

Good morning!!

Today I'm sharing with you a couple items from Sally.....isn't this box sooo darling?  Sally is a club member and she always brings me a little goodie (isn't that so nice?).  Thanks Sally!    The card is super cute with our Bali Breeze Designer Paper.

The last picture is some of the goodies I bought myself on my birthday. (do you do that, by yourself a gift? I do every year!!)   

See my Scotch ATG Tape gun??  I've wanted that thing for over a year and finally decided that I could justify the cost.  The average stamper would not need such a thing, but if you stamp daily, you might consider it.  But remember it will  not replace your sticky strip or glue dots, or crystal effects or your tombow, see how I'm reminding you of all our Stampin' Up! adhesive?   On my birthday Sandra and I had lunch at Olive Garden (yes, I swiped the coaster :)) and we pigged out on soup, salad & bread sticks..yum!  Then we went to Michaels, The Scrapbook Page and even Stampers Ink.  Going through the items in the picture,  I bought the amazing Hippity Hop Page Pack that was designed by my friend Julie (hey girl).  And I had to get the Punny Farm stamp set by My Favorites Things (had to have it because I grew up on a farm and I love those animals...for all you SU fans, I still  have the On the Farm stamp set that retired a few years back). I also had to get the Simple Celebrations from A Muse, I love those little images because they will fit in my scallop punches and we all know how much I love those.  And last but not least.  See that white ribbon, you can never have too much white ribbon because you know you can dye it with any of our Stampin' Up! re-inkers or sponges or even markers!!!  I'll be showing  you more of that soon!

Isn't she cute with those eyelashes?  I just had to make him into a girl!! Don't you just love it?  I know...I said I would stop with the owl ...but now that he's a she, I need to make a whole set of projects!!

Good morning!!

Can you believe my fingers didn't touch a rubber stamp yesterday?  Sad isn't it??  My children are on Spring Break and I'm behind on some areas in my life.  So, I spent some time with Chase and did some filing (you know all those papers, I only had about ten stacks :O )  Okay, I did some shopping too...needed a new file cabinet and I found one that I love...will share the photo soon....I'm so proud of it :)

Here's a couple jokes that had Chase and I in tears today...we laughed so hard I couldn't breath.

1.  How do you catch a Unique Rabbit?  Unique up on it.

2. What do you call four bullfighters in quicksand?   Quatro Sinko.

3.  Why do gorillas have big nostrils?  Because they have big fingers.
