LOVE the shelf!
YES-- I could live in IKEA -- it's such a fabulous store!!! :)

I love Ikea too & need to find some kind of shelving for my craftroom. Just wish it wasn't 2 hrs away! You've got a great system going there!

Angie,

Can you tell me where you bought your double sided tape gun? I would love to have one here at my house.

Thank you for all the wonderful ideas you show.

Love the shelving... can you post more pictures of your room? I remember the first couple of shots when you were just getting started on it but I would love to see your progress to date! Thanks in advance :o) Lb

wow...that shelving is fantastic..if you don't mind me asking, how much did that set you back? =)

I love to see how others organize since that's not my strong point. =)

Your shelf is lovely! I have only been to the store once and didn't buy a thing.

I've been eyeing those shelves myself! They are just perfect for your stamps. Enjoy them!

Really Nice!! I love it!!

I want a craft room just like yours :-)

I love the shelves! I also love IKEA but they are too far away. I have been once and bought the KROKEN series rail for $3.99 and used it to display my stampin up stamps. Works perfect. Hope to see more of your room soon. Thanks for a great blog.

You have room to expand in those shelves. That is so import for all of those upcoming necessities!

Love it love it love it. Looks great. You are so lucky to have such a super room.

Hi Angie,
Do you live close to the Chicagoland area? I live in Bolingbrook & we have one of the 2 IKEA stores in Illinois!! How cool that would have been if we could have met each other at the store!
Guess I'll have to go check these out. What area of the store were the file boxes & shelving unit in. I know sometimes they have items in completely different places then you would normally look.
Thanks for sharing!

I've posted a response to your post. Another idea for your ikea http://katemadedesigns.blogspot.com/
Love that anyone can order Ikea online. Enjoy these shelves they are wonderful.

Could you please email me and let me know what to search for. This is exactly what I've been looking for, and about what you paid. If you don't mind.

You lucky girl! I wish I lived close enough to one of these stores, but it's probably a good thing I don't. I love your blog and your videos. THanks so much for sharing your creativity with us.

So the power of IKEA brought you all the way from Kansas to Chicago???? It's a dastardly thing-that luring call of the IKEAS store! Did ya have the swedish meatballs? They are awesome. Give us a heads up the next time your in Chi-town, your "adoring blogging fans" would love to meet you in person!
Take care and I love the shelves, too!

Don't you love the shelf. I got one last year for Christmas; however, I got the black one. I also got baskets for each self...my intention is to lable each basket. I got a few done, but I need to finish!! I just love it because everything looks visually neat!

I have this shelf along w/ the desk to it. I LOVE IT!!! The drawers they sell that go in them are fabulous also. I use them to organize my big shot things and my punchies.

Great shelving unit! I love it! I live 15 minutes away from Ikea, I think I'll be making a trip there soon...TFS

Kathy-Elgin,

Don't you love your shelves?? I have three of them in my house, craft closet, son's room, under the stairs closet. LOVE THEM!! Love IKEA! PS Breakfast there is great and cheap, only 99 cents!

These Expedit Shelves are exactly what I am dreaming of. Unfortunately, IKEA isn't in my area and I really don't want to know how much shipping would be. My only concern is getting the 4x4 cube or 5x5 cube and not having it fit in another house (we move every few years for hubby's job). But I want these shelves even if it's the 2x4 and multiple of those. :) I can't wait until the day I am able to get them.

For those looking at these shelves, they are the Expedit line. There is the 5x5 cube one for $199, the 4x4 cube one for $149 and the 2x4 one for $80 Some come in black, white and sometimes birch. They also have an insert with door for $19. Hope this helps with those wanting to know pricing.
