Good morning!
I'm super excited about today's project. I saw this idea in a magazine a few weeks ago and I couldn't wait to make one. It's a ornament on one side...and then a gift card holder on the back side. I think my kids are going to get a kick out of having a ornament on the tree with a hidden gift card inside.
My plans are to use the GoGo boots alphabet die and personalize it with their names...but we'll see ...it might not look how I think it will :)
You can hardly see the "Season of Cheer" Rub-ons I added.....I was so excited to use the chocolate color but next time I'll use the white. I'll have to try the Chocolate with another color!
I'll be filming a tutorial on this next week...it's not hard...but it does take time. The ornament is a 4" round coaster (you can find them on my Chic n' Scratch Shack). On one side I covered it with the Bella Rose Designer Paper....then on the back of the coaster I attached a Chocolate Chip Scallop Circle made with the Big Shot Die (it's #4 in the mini catalog). Then I covered the chocolate scallop with Bella Rose paper. It sounds like a lot but it's really not....I just have a hard time wording it :)
Here's a picture of the back side......The gift card just tucks inside. If you wanted to hide it completely you could cut your paper further up.
Have a Fantastic Friday!
