Good morning!!

Today's picture is of a stamp set that will be available next week. It's the Just Buzzin' by stamp set and the card was made by my Leadership roommate Shelly. I was so happy to get her card....it's totally a Angie card :))) 

As a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator we were able to pre-order a few of the new sets and this was one of them...I can't wait to show some of the cards that were posted on the Leadership boards!!! (Coming next week.)

Tomorrow is Stamp Club for my Wednesday morning group and I've got to get busy (you should see my office.....not!!).

Free Stamp winner

As for the January free stamp set.....I'm trying to decide....do I use a stamp set from the current catalog or do I use a new one from the new catalog coming Jan. 19th.  What do you all think?   I'll decide soon and get it posted.

A favorite card from Leadership

Good morning!!

Today I'm sharing a few of my favorite cards I received at Leadership.  This card was made by Denise and I love the card she swapped with me.  As you know I always use pink & chocolate or red for Valentines and I love how she used non traditional colors.  Here's a list of supplies she used...

Fun Photos from Leadership

Good morning!!

Today I'm going to share with you a few of the fun photos we took in Orlando during the Stampin' Up! Leadership.  I always come home wishing I had taken more photos .......but..... for me it's hard to stop what I'm doing & get the camera out (plus...my photos are not that great).

So, let's get started... Photo number one is of Samantha and myself ....for the Stampin' Up! demos, she's my SAM (Service Account Manger) and her name is Sam...don't you love it?  She is so kind and has helped me so much, I love her! For my customers .....that are not familiar with the SAM program, if we earn cruise or when your title reaches a certain level or if you're in the Top 100 Demos, you get a SAM (it's kinda hard to explain). So, here we are.....

    

The next picture you'll get a kick out of .....several Stampin' Up! demos went to see the Twilight movie on Friday night...that was sooo much fun!!  It was like being a teenager going to the theater with so many girls! (That made my 5th time to see it but it was Glenda's 28th time....shock!!)  Here we are....

 

The next picture is of one of the signs at the Managers Reception, I couldn't resist taking it (I should  have taken a picture of the food, but I was too busy eating it).

 The next picture is of Shelly and I at the Managers Reception. (Shelly I'm thankful I got to experience my 1st Managers Reception with you ...even though you tried to kill me on that HULK ride...just kidding.) 

Moving right along....the next picture is of me being silly...while we were at the movie theater waiting we decided to take some silly pictures.....

 

The next picture is really funny....me on the red carpet...I couldn't resist :)  sorry the photos are kinda blurry...note to self next year ...take good camera to Managers Reception. (I was afraid to take my good camera to Universal Studios....you know with the rides and all.)

 

I'm hoping that a few friends forward me some non blurry pictures (hint hint)....I really need to take a photography class!!

Home from Leadership

Hi,

just a quick note....I'm alive and well....but exhausted with an capital E!! 

 This is one of my swaps I took to Leadership and starting tomorrow I'll try to get some photos loaded in the Leadership photo album (on the right side of this blog).  I also need some time to go through my notes and give you accurate news.

I think the biggest news of all was the announcement of our digital scrapbooking coming later this year. It's called "My Digital Studio"and they gave us a sneak peak... it's truly a WOW.  Ladies, if you're thinking that you're not the best on computers and it might not be for you....the program runs much like Microsoft Word...so if you can get around that you'll be fine....but.... if you can't...you have time now to learn it before our product is released. (you can find tutorials on the Microsoft website that will teach you.) 

Important news...the Love you Much Bundleis available for you to order on-line again & it's perfect that my project uses the Love you much stamp set.

p.s.s.  I removed the photo of the Spring & Summer Idea Book & Catalog.....but I'll add it back on Jan. 19th. A fellow demo shared with me that I was not allowed to show products before their release date.  Oops!!! Now that I really think about it....I knew that.... but I forgot.

 

Safely in Orlando :)

Just a quick note...we made it safely to Orlando and attended our Shoe box Swap.  That was a lot of fun and I can't wait to show you the darling cards we made.  Doing organized swaps is a Good Thing ....you'll see why I'm saying that very soon :)

My project I'm posting is one of my swaps that I brought for a few friends.  It's the Bind it All post it Notes and I have a tutorial on my Stampin' Academy.....don't forget you can type what you're looking for in my Google Search box and it will take you right to it....even I use it :)

For my project I used the Candy Lane Designer Paper that also comes in the Love you much bundle...isn't it cute?

Goody Goody Gumdrops

  Good morning!!

Today's picture is of some swaps I'm taking to Leadership....that is if the Sweet Always Designer Paper doesn't retire.  Today (Monday) at noon (mountain time) we get the accessories retiring list. (I have a back up plan if it does.)

 Visit my Stampin' Up! website to view that list or to place an order.  Please remember, the retired accessories is "while supplies last "and some items go fast.  If you try to order from me...by the time I get your payment and get the order placed it could be sold out (especially because I'm traveling to Orlando). 

Now for the details of my card.....did you notice the new stamp set? Do you love it? I do!!  That's the Goody-Goody Gumdrops stamp set and it's a level three Hostess set in the Spring & Summer Idea Book & Catalog. You have two ways to get it....Hold a $500 workshop from Jan. 19th - July ?? 2009..... or sign up to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and pre-order it.  I've had a few ladies ask me about becoming a demonstrator and the biggest question right now is do we wait until Feb. 1st to join or join now.  Everyone has to do what they are comfortable doing....but....if you join before Jan. 19th, you can pre-order a level two & a level three stamp set.  The flip side is if you wait until Feb. 1st, you get to pick an additional free stamp set from the catalog.  Personally I'd want the Goody-Goody Gumdrops but I see both sides :)

 If you've emailed me about becoming a demonstrator in the past week, send me an email and I'll give you my cell phone number so you can reach me this week....just in case you have questions.

Petal Card Candy Holder

Good morning!!

Today's project is one of my swaps I'm taking to Leadership :) 

 I love my Big Shot Die Cut Machine & I just got the Petal Card Die.  As soon as I cut it I knew it would make the perfect candy holder.  It will hold a Ghirardelli Chocolate, a small pack of Conversation hearts or even Laffy Taffy :)  I can't wait to try it with designer paper!!

The Petal Card Die is in our Holiday Mini Catalog and the item number is #113467.  I used Pink Pirouette, Chocolate Chip & Whisper White cardstock.  The Love you much stamp set is where you'll find the "hugs & kisses" stamp.

I'm sorry but I don't have a project to show you today.  Dave & Chase decided to come home early from the lake and messed up my plans...now I'm major behind. 

So, let's have some fun!  What are your New Years Resolutions?  Here's mine:

Personal:  1. Lose weight & exercise! 2. Find a charity I can work with this year (both of those were on lasts years list but I'm really going to try harder).

Business:  1. Get more organized! I'm super organized in some areas and others not...will work on balancing that out (started out great so far...cleaned two closets last week...9 bags of trash and a dining room full of stuff for Goodwill). 2.  Improve my blog photos(If I told you how many hours I've worked on this area you wouldn't believe it....I can not for the life of me find help in this area..maybe it's because I'm a visual learner and I can't find step by step instructions on how to do it.  I'm even willing to pay someone to help me accomplish this. I have a really nice camera...Canon Rebel XTI....PSE 5 software...a Light box and yet my pictures still look dull or should I say not vibrant?) 3. Help my Team grow their business (I just started a Focus on Success Group to help them and I'm super excited about it).
