Today's card was a real blessing!! I really wanted to stamp something today but.... it did not happen. Thanks Jill for sending me this lovely card...I love it!! And I'm very happy the Friendly Words wheel and the Friends stamp set is on it's way to my house :)))
The Friendly Words wheel was used with Chocolate Chip Ink & the darling flower is a Fleurette (on page 177). I wish my picture was better...for some reason I can't photograph chocolate very well. See below for a complete list of supplies used. Oops..almost forgot to mention...did you notice the new Eyelet Border punch?
Thanks for stopping by!
Stamps: Friends & Friendly Words wheel
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip & Pink Pirouette
Supplies: Eyelet Border Punch, Fleurettes, Rhinestone Brads, Kiwi Kiss Satin Ribbon
p.s. 3-D kits were mailed today and you should have gotten an email from usps confirming it.
p.s.s. Yesterday Chase's mouth was really hurting him (after getting braces) and I try to baby my children when they don't feel well.....so, I made him homemade chicken noodle soup. That would explain part of the reason why I wasn't able to stamp yesterday...it only took me 3 hours to cook it (not counting the shopping). I cooked a whole chicken and then de-boned it (time consuming!!). I thought you would like to see what it looked like :) those puffy things you see are Bisquick dumplings...we all fight for them ....by the way he ate three bowls of it. (Chase's bowl is on the right....less carrots because of his mouth hurting.)

Dumplings are so good! I makes me think of my mom. I'm the only one in my family that likes them, so I am really lucky! I hope Chase is on the mend!

What a nice mom. I remember braces....not fun at all. But you know, I'm so grateful my parents got them for me. I have a beautiful set of straight teeth, 20 years later.

MMM the soup and dumplings look delicious. My girls liked milkshakes when they got their braces. Some calcium and protein (I can find the good in anything). Love the chocolate and strawberry card LOL Mary Jo

what a good mommy =) my mom was kind to me when I got braces, too!
haha...I just made chicken soup from scratch yesterday...and didn't get anything else done, either! =) A family member was recovering from surgery and another friend was sick, so I made a HUGE pot and we ate it, too, after sharing...and still have some leftover!! =)
Yours looks delicious! Shredding the carrots makes them easier, btw. =) And I love those bowls...where did you find those (that question was the real reason I typed all this!haha!)
Always love your site. The box from today could be used for so many things, I may have to make a few...TFS!

This is way too funny. My son Damion (whose best friend is Chase) just got his braces on the 13th as well and all he wanted was Chicken Noodle Soup....
Spooky...
