Matchbox Messages Scallop Box

  Good morning!!

I'm so happy to be back on my regular schedule. The first two weeks of March I was trying to tackle a months worth of work and I hit a few bumps in the road.  If I've forgotten something....please let me know!! 

Today's project is one I made before I left but I thought I should wait until the Occasions Mini Catalog was in your hands to show it.....hopefully you've received it.

My project was made with the Box with Scallops Big Shot Die and I used the Matchbox Messages stamp set for the greeting.  That set is so cute and I couldn't resist getting it because I love everything that goes with our punches!!  It's on page 6 of the Mini Catalog and it will be available starting tomorrow (item number 113800 and it's $25.95).   But.... beware, the online ordering system will be down for a short period while they change over from the Sale-a-bration Mini to the Occasions Mini.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Home at last :)

Hi,

We made it home last night and it was truly a miracle!  But......I won't go into that just yet (Stay tuned this week). 

 Let's talk about this darling project first.....it was on display during the incentive trip and I was super excited to see a new post it note holder!!

I'm not sure who made it but it's right up my alley and here's a picture of the inside.....cute isn't it? I can't wait to make one myself!!

The image is from the Bella Blossoms stamp set and it's on our Dormant List. (Item number is 111596 and it's 23.95).  If you have the 2008 Fall & Winter Idea Book & Catalog it's on page 102.

p.s.  Our trip to Hawaii was amazing and there's so much to tell that I'm not sure where to start.  I also took around a thousand photos :)  In the next few days I'll be playing catch up and I'll try to get some photos loaded in the Hawaii album (on the right side). 

p.s.s. A few people have ask about the new products and new colors. I will not be sharing any details.  I'm sorry if you're expecting it, but I really do try to follow the rules & we've been told that it's only fair that Stampin' UP! introduce the new product.  When it's worded like that I totally agree with them and I'm sure you do too. Can you imagine if someone told you about my Chic Stand before I had a chance? It would break my heart!!  Speaking of Chic Stands....they've shipped and should arrive this week.  I'll be posting the details very soon :)

Yummy Treat Bag

Eastern Bloom notepad

Hi, I covered this note pad to bring on my trip ....but I accidentally left it on my desk.  I'm just happy all I forgot were my almonds and my notepad!!

I used the Eastern Blooms stamp set and stamped one flower in Kiwi Kiss and the other two in Baja Breeze.  I cut them out and attached them with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Big Shot MatchBox

Hi from Hawaii :) 

My project today was made with the brand new die for the Big Shot.  It's the Matchbox die and it's available April 1st & you'll find it in the Occasions Mini Catalog. 

 The Mini Catalog features some amazing new product and if you're a customer of mine you should be receiving this catalog any day!!  (quick reminder for the girls on my team....if you're a new demonstrator, you can pre-order those items now...email me if you need help.)

I made the Matchbox with the Tea Party Designer Paper and the Quilt Quips stamp set.  The butterfly is layered onto squares and the scallop was punched with the Scallop Square punch. If you're curious about the Matchbox....it works just like the Nugget Box, it's just cuter!!

Quick update

Hi,  just a quick update.....it's midnight and I'm still packing :)  I managed to stamp a few things today & the pictures are on my laptop.......but I need to get back to packing.  I'll either post tomorrow at the airport or in Hawaii.  See ya later!

Top Note Quilt

Good morning!

Isn't this card amazing?   Melissa gave me this card yesterday & I think I squealed with delight when she handed it to me.   I love it....thanks Melissa!!

I thought you all would like to know how it was made....so I wrote the instructions on a picture :)  Although some of the products are retired...I copied it exactly so you can see how it was made.  But ....can't you see the Tea Party Designer Paper with this? 

She used the Top Note Die & the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds #1 Texturz Plate. Here's the picture... (you can click on it to view it larger). 

The stitching was done with a black marker & the edges were sponged.  Wouldn't you love to have a quilt with those colors?

Tea Party Top Note Bag

Good morning!!

I'm super excited to show you today's project!  When I created the Top Note bag in November I was totally in love with it :)  What can I say....I love paper crafts. And...now that I've used the Tea Party Designer Paper with it...I love it all over again....now I want to make a dozen more. (do you do that too?)

Before I give you the details...did you notice I used the Oval All stamp set with the NEW Scallop Oval Punch?  Oh my gosh....it's the cutest thing ever!!! 

I'm sorry but you can't order them until April 1st (unless you're a demonstrator and if you are we can pre-order them.....and at a bigger discount.  If you're thinking of joining and need more info please let me know.).  I thought since it's my birthday you'd let me tease you with some new stuff.

Here's the details..... The stamp set is Oval All (available in the Occasions Mini Catalog starting April 1st.  Item #113790).  The Punch is the Stampin' Up! Scallop Oval Punch (item #114889).  I used the Large Oval punch to punch out "Just for You" and the handles.  I colored the "You" with a Blender Pen & re-inkers & the beautiful ribbon is 1 1/4" Pink Pirouette Grosgrain.

Cracked Glass Birthday Card:)

Good morning!

Tomorrow is my birthday and I decided to make myself a card :) 

I used the.....  If the Halo Fits stamp set and it's one that I love....but do not own. I borrowed it from my friend Lise last year and I stamped a couple extras.

The technique for this card is Cracked Glass and I filmed a video on it last year.  But...I made a mistake...you don't need a freezer after all :)  you can just wait and it will harden over time.  If you'd like to watch that video, click here. 

I used the Tea Party Designer Paper and the "birthday wishes" is in the Garden Greetings stamp set.

Eight Great Greetings for Dad :)

Good morning again....

Back to business stuff....My card today is for my daddy.  When I bought the Eight Great Greetings stamp set  (Occasions mini catalog) I bought it for many reasons. I loved the bunny...but I also loved this image.  It's perfect because you can use it for any occasion....birthday, fathers day, etc...

My card measures 11 x 3 and I scored it at 5 1/2.  I embossed the background with the Texture Plates #4 and I used the Chocolate Double Stitched Ribbon. I stamped the image a 2nd time and cut out the center "dad" piece and  I used a Stampin' Dimensional to pop it up. I also added a Dimensional to the back of the white. I totally love the 3-D look!!

Coaster Letters

Good Afternoon,

If you watched my video from yesterday on how to make the Password Books...I told you I would post a video on how to use the Light Weight Coasters with your Big Shot Die Cut Machine.  I just posted it on my Stampin' Academy, click here  if you'd like to watch it.

I used the Serif Essentials alphabet right out of our Stampin' Up! catalog and I also used a really old Sizzix set that I bought several years ago...in fact it was my very first die.  (The alphabet is Fun Serif Small.)

Rectangle Coaster Password Book

I used Medium Weight Rectangle Coasters and you can find them on my Chic' n Scratch Shack and they measure 3 7/8 x 5 3/8. 

For Savanna's book I used the Schoolbook Serif Alphabet with the Pacific Point Ink. I also used the Kiwi Kiss Striped Ribbon & the Stampin' Up! scallop circle punch.

Eight Great Greetings

Good evening!!

My card tonight was made using the brand new Eight Great Greetings stamp set.  It's one of the pre-order sets from the Occasions Mini Catalog. I almost used the cupcake image first but with Easter right around the corner I thought I should show you the cute bunny first.  I struggle with coloring bunnies.... because I like them to be white....& then they lack in color ...but not this bunny.....all those eggs are a perfect way to add some color :) 

I used the Delicate Dots Designer Paper (Sale-a-bration) & I used the 1 3/4" circle punch on the bunny and the Scallop Circle is from the Pennant Big Shot die. (I use it that die so much ...some days I think I might better order another one for just in case.)

I hope all that made sense...I'm exhausted! I've been gone most of the day.  Brook got her hardware taken out of her mouth....and you don't want to see the list of errands I ran....lets just say tomorrow needs to be a PJ day!!

Wagon Full of Fun

 

 

Hi, I'm super excited.....my new stamps arrived today and although I was gone most of the day I just had to make a card really fast.  I love the Wagon Full of Fun stamp set and I had to order it right away.  My favorite stamps are animals and images that need to be colored.

Some of you are confused regarding the mini catalog and have ask me to mail you a copy.  It should be on it's way to you....very soon (if you've purchased Stampin' Up! product from me).  The Mini Catalog starts April 1st...but Stampin' Up! is letting everyone pre-order 4 of the sets early.  Wagon Full of Fun being one of them.

Scratch n Win

Me again...after spending two days dealing with yucky computer issues I need a pick me up .....so lets have some fun!
