Hi, The card you see here is one of many that's included with the box you'll see at the end of this post. I've been trying to use all the designer paper that I've stashed away and I thought this paper was perfect for what I was looking for!
I used the Great Friend stamp set that's in the Occasions Mini Catalog and punched it with the 1 3/8 Circle Punch. Instead of piercing holes with the Paper Piercer & the Chic Stand, I used the Black Marker and made little dots (to tie in the black a little more).
The matching envelope was made with the same designer paper and if you'd like to see how to make an envelope to go with your 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 card, click here.
Now for the box....I'll show you the picture and then explain :)
After I filmed the video for the Designer Paper box I decided to make one smaller, using only one sheet of 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock. This is the end result....cute isn't it? Ever since Melissa gave me that birthday card with the Top Note quilt I've wanted to make a card, but look how cute it looks on my box. Click here if you'd like to see the written instructions on how to make the Top Note quilt.
The box is made just like the Designer Paper Box, except it's smaller. Would you like another video or just the measurements?
I will try to post again this weekend but no promises. Just in case I don't..........Have a Happy Mothers Day!!! and thanks for stopping by :)
p.s. the retired designer paper I used was Cutie Pie.

I LOVE your videos but know you are a super busy person so the measurements would be great as I am sure it is similar to make as the larger box. Can't wait to see the video and make some!

Thanks for the box video because it arrived just in time. I'm making note cards for my MIL for Mother's Day and was going to search for a box to make. Happy Mother's Day!

Angie, I know how I am going to spend my Saturday afternoon! I LOVE the box with the edge. I will be having my mom over for Mother's day brunch (she's our daughter's only remaining "grand"). She loves cards so this will be perfect; 6 cards a book of stamps and airline tickets for her to visit my niece and nephew.
I have to tell you a funny story; two months ago I went to New Orleans (2nd time) to do Katrina relief. Our team leader wrote to our "emergency contact" people asking for them to send us letters. My mom asked my cousin, sister, and neighbor to also send me notes of encouragement; they all wrote me to me on stamped cards I MADE!
Thanks for your hard work!

I have really enjoyed how you have changed up all the little boxes. You always manage to add just that little touch to your projects like the little fold down edge on the top of the box. Very cute.
Happy Mother's Day to you & Thanks for sharing all your works of Art!

Love the box. I think measurements for the different size would be sufficient, but I love your videos. You have such wonderful ideas and make everything look so simple.

Hi Angie,
These boxes are great and just giving the measurements for the smaller one would be fine, although would the score lines be different? Anyway they are all so cute and you always do such good work. Thanks for having a great blog site. I always enjoy it and wait with anticipation for the next post.

Angie, I really enjoy your projects. I am a similar crafter that takes one idea and tweaks it over and over until it gets just right. Every one of the boxes is great on its own! But each subsequent box was even better. Keep the great ideas coming! Leslie

Great card boxes! I like that they are practical and good-looking with simple construction. They also have clean lines. I can see getting alot of use from this design. TFS. While a new video would be nice, the measurements of the smaller box are all that are necessary.
