Parisian Breeze Altered Clipboard

Hi, my video today demonstrates how to make one of these Altered Clipboards.

If you've never made one I encourage you to try it. I promise you'll love it!! I still have the first one I made ….many moons ago

The smaller clipboard has been Mod Podged and I demonstrated that in my video. The larger clipboard isn't finished and you can see how light it is at the top (once I apply the Mod Podge it will darken.

My video gives you three tips to being Bubble Free with Mod Podge. I'll be honest and tell you I'm not sure which tip is the key. I've only had bubbles once or twice and that was long time ago. In the video I stated that I would let you know if it developed bubbles….and ….it's bubble free

Supplies Used:

Cardstock: Parisian Breeze Speciality Paper (2 sided) – Cut in 9 x 2 1/2 strips and 9 x 2 strips

Other: Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon, Baja Breeze Striped Ribbon, Mod Podge, Bone Folder, Sanding Block, Scissors & Glue Stick or other adhesive

I used to modpodge all the time, never thought I would ever use it again, but I see that I am going to. These clipboards are great.

What size is the clipboard? Where do you get them? Thanks a lot. It’s really adorable. Do you have one that is decorated? You mentioned that you could decorate with letters, flowers, etc..

I apologize if you mentioned this in your video but how many layers of modpodge do you put on the clipboard? Also, do you have any clipboards that you decorated w/ pictures or put a name on that you could share w/ us? Thanks!! )

Hi Angie…I just LOVE coming to your blog everyday…you are the cutest thing…I have made these clipboards before…I think I will make another one for my Dad for Father’s Day…he is always writing notes down about something…lol I think the trick to NOT having air bubbles is…not getting the cardstock too wet with the Mode Podge. I’ve never had the bubble problem when making mine. I love the way you go into detail step-by-step with your tutorials! Thanks again Angie…have a spectacular GOD filled day!

Was wondering how you apply photos. Do you first modgepodge the clipboard with just the DSP and then glue the photo and modgepodge again? Love your ideas – thanks for all the wonderful videos.

couple of questions
do you do the back of the clipboard also?
where can I find that huge tape gun?
sanding block is the sanding block to do nails right???
