My blog is finally domain mapped! I know what the heck does that mean? In the internet world it means a lot! I started my blog Chic n Scratch three years ago and had no idea what a domain was. But somebody else did and they bought my name. It would knock your socks off the price they quoted me to let me use my own name. Since that wasn't an option, I went around them. My blog will stay as Chic' n Scratch but if you noticed my address was http://www.chicnscratch.typepad.com. In other words a mouth full. So now it's much shorter and all I had to do was add the word My to Chic' n Scratch and make it My Chic n Scratch.
Everything should still work the same, but you could change the bookmark if you'd like (some call it bookmark & others call it favorites).

Ah...now you know how the American Cancer Society and the White House feel! ACS site was bought by someone selling herbal cancer "cures" from Asia any preying on some who came looking for care and support from the Cancer Society and if you forget the .gov on the White House site you get porn.
Glad you figured a way around it. With a name like Chicnscratch I can only imagine what someone else might use that address for!
