Lots of Bots Top Note Box

 

I'm super excited about today's project!!  When I was at Leadership in January I participated in a 3D swap and the top note box was one that I received ......and I love it!!  (I'll show that one later this week.)   I've been holding on to it waiting for the perfect time to use it and when I started stamping with the Lots of Bots stamp set, I knew it was just what I was looking for. 

If you're one of my Club Members, this is one of your June projects and I'll post the details on that blog this afternoon.

I used Not Quite Navy with the Walk in the Park Designer Paper.  Don't forget that the Walk in the Park Designer Paper is in the Occasions Mini Catalog and will end on June 30th.

The "happy birthday" is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and it will be available July 1st.  I attached the sentiment to the new Modern Label punch that will also be available July 1st.

Razzle Dazzle

My card today uses some new product that will be available July 1st.  The Razzle Dazzle stamp set is one of the sets that will be available to purchase and the Kind & Caring Thoughts stamp set is a Level three hostess set.

The Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Paper matches the Razzle Dazzle stamp set, but the Bella Rose Designer Paper is retiring and I thought I would use it a few more times before it's gone. I think it looks good together, don't you?

Just a reminder that as a demonstrator we're allowed to pre-order some new stamp sets, as well as two new hostess sets.  If you're familiar with our hostess benefits, you know this is our only chance to purchase them.  After June 30th, the only way to get a hostess set is to earn it.  If you're thinking of becoming a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, let me know and I'd be happy to go over all the wonderful benefits.

Boatloads of Love

 

Good afternoon!

My card today uses the Boatloads of Love stamp set and it's retiring on June 30th.  I love this set and although it's retiring from the Idea Book & Catalog, mine will stay on the shelf. 

 My favorite stamps are images that I can color with an Aqua Painter or a Blender Pen and the boat always looks so good, whatever color you choose!  I used Kiwi Kiss and Baja Breeze ink & cardstock and I love how the "I'm pulling for you" fit in the Scallop Square.

p.s. I have some wonderful news!!  If you're like me & allergic to milk (not lactose intolerant, but allergic). I found a milk that I can use without any side effects.  It's Almond Milk. Several people told me about it and I couldn't find it, until I was told it could be found on the baking isle at the store.  Right next to the Rice milk and Soy milk.  It's gluten free, dairy free and lactose free. I've had cereal for two days straight and it was wonderful!!  And for the best news of all, it taste good. Dave looked at it and said yuk, but seriously, it was really good!  Now I'm thinking..... we need sour cream, cottage cheese, ice cream & cheese made with almond milk!

Post it Note Organizer

 

Hi, My project today is one of our June Club Projects.  I need to tweak it just a tad and then I'll film a video and start cutting.  It's a Post it Note Organizer and thanks to Carol for sharing the dimensions!!  I hope it's okay that I changed the measurements so I could include a full size ink pen instead.  Here's the picture of the inside.....

I used the Petal Pizzazz stamp set with Kiwi Kiss and Regal Rose ink.  The designer paper is a Walk in the Park from the Occasions Mini Catalog.

Bunny Punch Page

Hi,  I'm sharing the Bunny Punch Page that I'll be working on tomorrow.  I'll also be filming the video.

The punches needed for the bunny include:  1 3/4 Circle, Large & Small Oval, 1/2" Circle & 1/4" Circle.

To make the bunny you'll also need a Black Marker, Sponges & white gel pen.

Lovely Labels Thank you

 

Hi,  my cards today uses one of my favorite sets & it's retiring!!   It's the Lovely Labels stamp set (on page 141) and I've used it a ton over the past couple years.  It's one of those sets that can produce a quick card and you're happy with the results. (It was also the set I used on one of my earlier videos, back when I made Card of the Week videos.)

All six of the colors are retiring June 30th and they're currently while supplies last.  Here's the list of the retiring colors:  Pink Pirouette, Kiwi Kiss, Riding Hood Red, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point & Tangerine Tango.  (Yes, I will miss these colors dearly and not sure how I can make it without the Pink.  But every year I say that about one of the colors, last year it was Soft Sky or was it River Rock.) 

I made this set of cards for a gift and I'll package them with the envelopes in one of our Large Cello Bags (I love those clear bags and they are so affordable).

Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set

Good Morning!

My card today is using all new Stampin' Up! product that will be available July 1st.  The "hello baby" is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set and the giraffe is from the Animal Stories stamp set.

I stamped the Giraffe in Crushed Curry Ink and the ribbon is the Crushed Curry Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon.

And last but not least..... the new punch!  It's the Modern Label Punch and it matches the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set perfectly!!

Is anybody out there :)

I know that sounds a little funny doesn't it?  But I keep getting emails from people that can't access my blog.  Can anybody see this?  If you can take a minute & leave me a comment I would appreciate it.  I'm starting to panic.

I typed www.mychicnscratch.com in my own browser and it didn't work.   But, when I typed http://www.mychicnscratch.com it did work.   I'm not sure why. Add that to the fact that You Tube isn't working....see how I could start to panic?    See ya later!

Horse Punch Page

Good morning!  

This is what I'm working on....the Horse Punch Page.  I've filmed the video but You Tube isn't loading.  I'll keep trying but in the meantime I'm punching like crazy.  I'll share a few photos next week of the assembly line production of the Punch Pages.

Animal Stories

 

Good morning!  Today's card is using all new product. I just couldn't resist making a few quick cards.  I'll share another card tomorrow and then I'll get back to showing you some more retiring items ( Last Chance List ) so you don't miss out on getting them before their gone.

Now for the details on today's card.  I used the Animal Stories stamp set along with the Teeny Tiny Wishes.  I stamped the elephant in Melon Mambo.  The new designer paper is  Razzleberry Lemonade.  And the Ribbon you see is the pretty new Melon Mambo Polka Dot but I turned it over and used the other side.  Don't you love it when Ribbon is two sided? Stampin' Up! has the best ribbon!!

Do you know how to turn the ribbon around like that so you don't see the dots?   If not, let me know and I'll film a video.  Also don't forget to change your bookmark or favorite to www.MyChicnScratch.com.

My Chic n Scratch

Just a quick update... I have a dot com.  You can now find me at www.mychicnscratch.com.  I'm so excited.... even though I'm still sick this has made my day!!

 My blog is finally domain mapped!  I know what the heck does that mean?  In the internet world it means a lot!  I started my blog Chic n Scratch three years ago and had no idea what a domain was.  But somebody else did and they bought my name.  It would knock your socks off the price they quoted me to let me use my own name.  Since that wasn't an option, I went around them.  My blog will stay as Chic' n Scratch but if you noticed my address was http://www.chicnscratch.typepad.com.  In other words a mouth full.  So now it's much shorter and all I had to do was add the word My to Chic' n Scratch and make it My Chic n Scratch.  

Everything should still work the same, but you could change the bookmark if you'd like (some call it bookmark & others call it favorites).

Look Here & Hit the Road

 Isn't that a funny title?  Look here & Hit the Road are the names of the product that I'm using on today's project.

I started out using the Hit the Road stamp set and was thinking I would make a Graduation card......you know Hit the Road, head off to college?  And then I thought the perfect gift for a recent grad is a Visa gift card. So, I used the Look Here Bigz XL Die (available July 1st) and made a gift card holder. The colors are Kiwi Kiss & Chocolate Chip.  (It went from graduation to a birthday card.)

 I stamped the image on Shimmery White Cardstock and the designer paper is Walk in the Park sponged it with Close to Cocoa.

 I'm not one for pop up cards or things that take a long time to make & when I first opened the new Look Here Die I was like "oh no what have I gotten myself into".  Well, let me tell you.....it comes in one piece and all you need to do is fold it on the score lines and attach it to your card....it's that simple (unless I made it wrong).  And, it would make a darling invite!  

 I'll be sure to film a video once we get closer to July 1st so you can be the judge.  Don't forget to check out the retired stamp & accessories list known as the Last Chance List.

Lots of Bots stamp set

Good morning!

When I saw this stamp set in the Sneak Peek from Stampin' Up! I knew the Robots would match the Walk in the Park Designer Paper.  Doesn't the paper look like bolts ....or is it me?

I made this card for myself.... not really.... but I'm not feeling very good &  I decided this robot would put a smile on my face. (Heading back to the doc today, sinus infections are yucky!!!!) 

The Lots of Bots stamp set will be available in the new Idea Book & Catalog starting July 1st & the designer paper is in the Occasions Mini Catalog and it will not be available after June 30th.  Be sure to order the paper if you're a fan of the robot & paper together.

Lamb Punch Page

Here's what I've been working on...isn't he/she cute?

 Since Chase & Brooke showed Lambs in 4-H I just had to include the Lamb Punch in my Punch Book!! 

 I'm hard at work on the pages but I'm still sick so I'm moving the pace of a snail (o....wouldn't a snail be cute?  has anyone made a snail?)
