Sweet Birthday

 

Good morning!

My card today was made with the Sweet Birthday stamp that's on the Under $10 page.  I used two of the new colors...... Melon Mambo & Crushed Curry along with Tempting Turquoise.

I used the Stampin' Up! Backgrounds #1 Texturz plates to add the dots to the white cardstock and I colored the image with the Stampin' Write Markers.

p.s.  I'm super excited...I was able to film a video yesterday and it's loaded on You Tube.   I just need to add some notes and post it on my blog and I'll make sure it's posted by tomorrow morning.  See ya :)

I love this card, but I am intrigued as to how you you got the blotchy--for lack of a better word-- effect with the Melon Mambo on the top of the cake. I know you said you used markers, but did you do anything different to get the light and dark areas? It looks really like shadows of frosting in the picture! Great job, as usual!!
