I love the pin cushion idea. I may have to make one for my dear friend who is a quilter.

Happy to hear the Elephant is off your shoulders. Now time to get back into the swing of things and relax. Isn't there something about sewing and quilting that is just so calming. I have been doing it for years, and then I found stamping. I love both of them! Such a cute little pin cushion, and yes it would make a darling dog toy, or pop some cat nip inside and watch your kitty go crazy. Until next time. Happy stamping/quilting times to you.

I like your first attempt! And the fabric is delish! Best wished from Germany

Love the pincushion Angie....and I think it will make a great gift for our mothers day stall her in Aussie next year(which we are already creating for)....am wondering if it actually needs the batting? and also if you could pin it together wrong sides together, sew it round leaving a little gap to add the stuffing and then handstitch the opening closed...might give this a try and also your version without the batting as I do like the shabby look...Thanks for sharing and I am currently awaiting the arrival of my scallop die so I can make your gorgeous rag quilt bag...Please Mr Posty bring it tomorrow!

I love your pincushion and I can see it also as an ornament. That would be perfect! So glad to hear you don't have to move, what a job going through everything and packing it up! I really liked seeing the pictures of your stamp room, now I know where you are when I watch your videos. Love your studio - the colors as well as how you've organized it.

I absolutely love this idea. I think I am going to have to try this too!!

P.S. Love your stamping space.

Your stamp room is so amazing. It is nice to know there are others out there who have more than one craft to pursue. I love collecting fabrics and scrapbooking stuff. I am glad you don't have to move and even though it was a lot of work painting and all what a fresh, clean feeling it must be!

I love this! especially as an ornament idea! Can I buy your pincushion from you! It is just toooo cute!!!

very cute! I was just playing with a pin cushion idea for a gift, this may be the it!

Oh my! That is a really cute pincushion......if you want a different edging why not just use the satin stitch around the edges..........but looser. Maybe you even have blanket stitch on your machine. Just a thought.

You know, the shape may have gotten lost in the blocks for the purse but I bet it would look awesome as the closing tab for your bags!
