My project today is something that I've wanted to make since I saw Patty's version at Leadership. I would have made it on the spot if I could have gotten my hands on some supplies!! As you all know I love birds & birdhouses and I collect both bird cages & birdhouses.
Did I share with you the story of how Dave woke up one morning and said I couldn't buy one more bird house or cage. He had a dream that they all came crashing down on him….isn't that funny?
To make the birdhouse it's soooo easy. All you need is the Mini Milk Carton die (found in the Occasions Mini Catalog), a piece of 2 x 4 cardstock and the Extra Large Two-Step Bird. You score the 2 x 4 card stock in half at 2" and just assemble. I'll be making a video once I decide which version to use for Stamp Club. Thanks for joining me!!
Angie, I’m wondering if you can share the measurements of the milk carton once constructed? Thanks.
This is soooooooooo adorable Angie, guess I am going to have to break down and order the milk carton die. Sighhhhhhhhhhh.
Too cute. What would it be like to use it as a milk carton but to still punch a hole so a person could see the goodies inside. Of course you’d need to cover it with acetate. Maybe you could use the scalloped square or the curly label punch instead of the circle. I didn’t think I needed the milk carton die but now I believe I do. Thanks for the beautiful examples.
Happy Stamping,
Wow – possibly one of the cutest of these I’ve seen! Love it. Great job Angie!
