How would you like to win a Free Chic Stand?
I'm going to be giving away 12 of them in the next three days (that's four a day). And your name can be entered twice....but there's a catch :) Don't you know it?
Spring is the time of year that I always feel the most optimistic and I'm looking at my business thinking "how can I can make it better". Am I missing the boat on something?
This is where you come in..... Do you have a suggestion? Do you have an idea to improve my business? I am always coming up with ideas for other companies...but how does someone like me get my suggestion to them. I'm just a small fish in big ocean (just kidding). Last year when I went on my first Founders Circle trip we were given an opportunity to share some of our ideas. I was thrilled to add my suggestion (more line art images ...cute fun images...remember those Hedgehogs?).
Good Luck & thanks for choosing me to your demonstrator!!
p.s. I'm sorry but the Chic Stands are not available to purchase... but I can give them away as free incentives :)

I know you mostly focus on cards, but I think that putting together "page kits" for scrapbookers would be a big bonus. Maybe showing the kit, then two or three different ways of using that kit. I always like to buy products that come with examples of that particular item and different ways to use it.
Or maybe making up kits that could make four or six double layouts and what cards could be made with the leftovers.
Thanks for the opportunity to win!

I don't know Angie, since you'd made the Founders circle (and I see your name in the awards section of Stampin' Success a lot) I think you're pretty successful! One thing I tried this year is an idea I saw from another side is where they earn Frequent Stamper Points - one of my ladies is nearly ready to earn a free stamp set of her choice! But that's the best I can do! I'd like to know how to find all the recruits everyone finds - I guess I'm not aggressive enough!
You do a great job, love your blog!

Angie,
I am a new demonstrator and met you at Leadership, you are a delight and inspiration. Something I am going to try for the Recruit Crew challenge is mail out the Sneak Peek flyer and the SU! opportunity with a little gift to catch their attention to ladies I am not in direct contact with. My idea may be old, because I am new, but I am going to put all I have into it. And sometimes when you hear someone elses idea it triggers an idea in your own head!

I just had a thought. I am sure you have a fabulous following. What if you decided to host a challenge on your blog? Challenges are everywhere and people love to play. You could focus your challenge on product, get people interested in the product and maybe increase sales. I think most people who play challenges link back to the original challenge and maybe you could increase your exposure there! Winners could be featured on your blog, recognition is a nice prize. I imagine it might take a bit of work, but you don't strike me as someone who shies away from work. Good luck finding some wonderful ideas!!

I am a HUGE fan of mini books... what if you put together kits for Mini Books?
BTW, i LOVE all the work i see on your blog!

I love your blog and check every day and sometimes twice to see what great ideas you have come up with! I think what I would suggest is you taking time for YOU! To regroup and reload, more often than you do. That way you are refreshed and ready to tackle what comes next. Take the weekends off. You don't have to work every day! I really love your cards the most and take what you have done and tweek it with what I have on hand and make it my own. Maybe showing an alternative with a card design to show what else you can do with it would be great. You are an amazing person who readily gives of themselves! We are all blessed to "know" you even if it's just in blog land!

As much as I'd love to think of your next great idea, I'm stumped! You do it all already! Love your blog and always find it packed with great ideas...honestly can't think of anything else. Thanks for all you already do! (And for a chance at blog candy.(

I'm guessing this time of year is slow because it's (almost) after Sale-a-Bration and it's before the new catalog is released...Something that personally attracts my attention to a particular demonstrator is the lure of something free based on a minimum sales. It could be a spool of ribbon, a set of 6 x 6 dsp, some brads or buttons buttons. It could even be free shipping and/or sales tax. Customers like free items : )

I'd like to see more versatility in the stamp sets. Maybe take one set a week and do several things with it, all a little different. Maybe a scrapbook page layout, a card, a 3-D item, etc. I often get stuck in a rut doing the same things over and over. SOmetimes a challenge like this helps me step out of my box and look at things a little differently. Hope that helps. And thanks for the opportunity to win a chic stand.......I couldn't function without mine but it's getting rather 'used'....... :)

I love your blog! I am new and have signed up for emails, I am not sure what I could recommend, Maybe more video's of how you make cards?? Some times I find it hard to figure out how stamp sets work together(like layered ones). Thanks for the offer:)

How about suggesting they (Stampin' Up) come up with a simple sticker to place in your ink pads when they are open so that customers don't confuse colors.
I also would LOVE to see more felt flowers and shapes in different colors! They are a hit with my customers!
I go to blogs to learn. I think that's why your blog is such a hit because you do simple and transferable cards. You keep it real! I've always thought about bringing in an art teacher to give tips on watercoloring, shading, color combinations, etc. For example: Watercoloring for Dummies. You could give teaching tips for those who aren't naturally artistic/ creative. This would bring people into your site to learn daily or weekly applicable tips.

thanks,

I would like to see more on the Design Studio. I'm interested in it but I'm not very computer savvy, so more demos on MDS would be great...cards, scrapbook pages, postcards, etc. Mary

I too would love to see a challenge of some sort. You could do different levels of it. One time with a stamp set, or mix and matching sets (that is one reason I love SU, is that things are so inter-changeable, giving us more mileage for our money!). I know some people feel a bit challenged trying to think of color combinations, so that would be fun - esp to see what others come up with!

Hmmm... how to improve your business? Why do you think WE come to your blog? It's so we can get ideas to improve OUR businesses! :) I've gotten some great tips from you!
I did just order the MDS, so I would to see tips and videos on how to actually use it. I'm fairly computer-savvy, but I've never done digital scrapbooking before and would love to see some easy step-by-step instructions on how to create with it.

First I love your creativity! You have great taste and I love how beautiful your projects are and yet they are so simple in design that they are not overwhelming to the beginers.
I would love to see more on the digital studio. I am also love 3-d gifts and am always looking for more of those to do to give away.
Thanks for taking the time to share your creativity with the rest of us out there :)

Hi - A suggestion that comes to mind is for making everyday practical objects cuter, prettier, more fun; something along the lines of your covered notebooks & Post-It Note holders or decorative labeling & storage ideas. I made a little embellie to attach to the topmost coffee filter in my filter holder. Just a small thing that took no time @ all to make, but each time I make a cup of java, I smile because I see a cute little embellie.

Hi Angie, How about selling pre-cut punches and putting them in small baggies to sell? Some of the punches are no longer available and for those people who are not full time scrappers may not want to buy the punch because they may not use it again. You can post what kind of scrap paper you have to choose from and then they can decide what punch with what designer paper you have. You can do this with your scraps of ribbon also. You can also punch alot of punches from the plain paper. It's kind of like a mystery bag if the person just wants a surprise baggie. Hope this makes sense. Or use some of your buttons and brads in the bags too.

I just love your blog...you have some great ideas...and I am always inspired when I stop by! I think you are doing a great job with your business. I am getting into sewing more...so I am always up for more sewing projects! What about creating some sort of accessories to go with your purses? wallet, checkbook cover, cell phone pouch, etc????
Thanks! :)

Oh my goodness! I hope I win! I've really been wanting one of your Chic Stands! I think about it everytime I paper pierce anything. ;) I've made several of your projects and they are always so cute! My dd asks every morning if we can watch a SU! video, and we come to your blog.
One idea I have- what if you did a once a week project for kids? I know a ton of my friends that are hs'ing little ones would love to have a new simple craft idea to do each week with their kiddos! You could call your post "Chic Little" or something. ;)

Hi Angie, I hope your trip was a good one! I see stencils in the catalogues, but few are the suggestions on how to use them. This goes for the scrapbook kits and rub-ons. Would be great to see creative ways to incorporate them into projects.
Enjoy visiting your site.

Yes instead of just selling the instructions, I would like to see kits made to where all the supplies are there for us to put together, as some of us don't have the means to purchase every single item, it would be great to just purchase the kit and create.

Hi Angie. It's hard for me to think of anything other than mabye putting together little baggies with different Stampin Up die cuts and sell them. A lot of people may not have the "Big Shot" yet and they would have the opportunity to have the "Top note" shape, among others. I hope you had fun on your trip. Welcome Home!! Have a wonderful weekend. :)

I have been looking for a project for a shoebox project for an upcoming gathering and I was totally charmed by your purse gift card holder. It's so sweet and will be a quick enough make that the ladies won't go over time. I have book marked your blog and will be back!

I visit another blog where she occasionally takes a card from another source and makes it totally with SU products. I really enjoy it when she does that. Not to steal her idea, but perhaps something along that line. I also like to have fresh new ideas using old sets that are still current but haven't been used in a while. Thanks so much for offering a Chic Stand.
