The Tags til Christmas Altoid Tin Gift Card Holder is the 1st project for my 12 Days of Christmas.
You saw this project a few days ago because it’s my Black Friday Cyber Monday Special offering. Click here for the details on how you can get one for FREE.
The Altoid Tins are the perfect size to hold a Gift Card or a Visa Debit Card!
I embossed the Real Red card stock with the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder and after I attached it to the lid I sprayed it with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol.
Speaking of shimmer paint…. How much shimmer paint do you need? I fill a small spray bottle 3/4 of the way and then pour in about a teaspoon of shimmer paint. That’s it! Just make sure you shake it each time before you use it.
I stamped the image from the Tags til Christmas Stamp set with Early Espresso ink and cut it out with the 1″ square punch … you can see all my tips and tricks on my video tutorial.

So cute! You come up with the best ideas!
Thanks for the video! I always have a hard time getting the card stock the correct size, what size did you use?
Theresa,
I cut the card stock at 3-1/2 x 2-1/8 and then round the corners. It should work perfectly after you round the corners.
Thanks!
