Serene Snowflakes Stamp Set

Isn't this card beautiful?  I absolutely love it and would have never thought to use black. The Night & Day Specialty Paper is perfect for this card!  The Serene Snowflake stamp set is another one of those sets that I'll keep forever.  The snowflakes are so elegant & beautiful and I've certainly gotten my money's worth.

Did you notice how the Scallop Circle has the Frosted White Shimmer Paint on the edges?

I stamped the little deer with Soft Suede ink and used my Real Red Marker to add a red dot to his nose. I used the Christmas Cocoa Specialty Paper from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the Merry Christmas is part of the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.

Sweet Season Stamp Set

My card today was made with the Sweet Season Stamp set.  I used the Merry Moments designer paper & this pattern is my favorite in that assortment.
The "Merry Christmas" is in the Teeny Tiny Wishes on page 145. I love how most of the greetings fit in the Word Window Punch and then you can layer it with the Modern Label Punch.

This card measures 41/4 x 4 1/4 and it will always be my favorite size!!

Berry Christmas Stamp Set

This darling card was sent to me & I thought I was share it with you today.  I'm not sure you can see it but the red parts in the wreath are little punches made with the Crop a Dile.  She used the Berry Christmas stamp set with Real Red & Certainly Celery.

The Very Vanilla cardstock was embossed with the Petals a Plenty Impressions Folder.

I'll retake a picture when the sun comes out....it was a cloudy day here in Kansas!

Christmas Greetings Stamp Set

Good morning,

My card today is a warm up card I made when I was creating a project for my 12 weeks of Christmas.  Quick heads up....my 2nd newsletter will go out later today.   You can expect one a week until Christmas and I'll send them on either Wed or Thursday.

For this card I used some items from the Holiday Mini Catalog.  The beautiful snowflake is from the Serene Snowflake stamp set.  The Christmas Greetings is in the Grateful Greetings stamp set and the cute little bird is from the Merry Details Sizzlit.   (I had him in Soft Suede because I love the monochromatic look ......but I changed it to Ruby Red to make him pop :)

My Christmas Card

Good morning!

My project today is going to be my Christmas Card.  I used the Sweet Season stamp set & the Merry Christmas can be found in the Christmas Greetings stamp set.  I embossed the image Old Olive craft ink with Clear Embossing Powder.

After I embossed the image I punched it out with the Scallop Circle Punch and layered it on the Old Olive Scallop. The Old Olive Scallop is from the Pennant Die.  Here's a tip for you....I took one sheet of all my favorite colors of cardstock and punched out a bunch of these scallop circles. I store them in a glass container so I can reach in anytime & grab one :)

I took apart a Clear Rhinestone Brad, removed the gem and attached it with a Mini Glue Dot.

This year I'd like to include this on all my cards ...but if I get behind I may eliminate this step.

Differences between the two cards:

• The Rhinestone Brad was attaching using the Paper Piercer with my Chic Stand.
• Added Dimensionals to the Old Olive Scallop
• Merry Christmas is a tad too high on this card

Shoebox Swap card

Good afternoon,

Today I'm sharing another swap card that I took to Convention.  It's also one of the  cards in my August Card Kit.  Click here if you'd like to register for my August Card Class or order the kit.

I used The More the Merrier Stamp set (Level three hostess set on page 17) and the greeting is from the Punch Pals stamp set.  I colored the snowmen with the Blender Pens & re-inkers and applied Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with a 2 Way Glue.  (I'll film a video and load is asap).  If you'd like to watch my video on how to make this card, click here.

Now I'll post some more Convention Photos....the first one is of Sam & I ........she's my SAM and I just love her!!

The next photo is my name on the big screen for being in 1st Place for Senior Associate Promotions.  

The following picture is the Top Ten Demonstrators.  (Sorry my picture doesn't include the top demo, once we were all in place the cameras were in front and blocking the view.)  If anyone has any photos of me and want to send them my way, please feel free to do so. (I'm not the easiest person to photograph!)

The next picture is important to me!! My goal for 2009 was to earn Founders Circle and I did it!  I've had so many people ask me what advice can I offer.  Probably the biggest thing is to set goals.  I believe it gives you direction and keeps you focused on what you want.....not what everyone else wants......does that make sense? 

In 2007 my goals were to have regular attendance at my events and to get more comments on my blog.

The More the Merrier

Good morning!

My card today is one that I've been playing around with.  I'm trying to come up with cards to swap at Convention and I want everyone to like my cards....but....as you all know my cards tend to be on the quick & simple side. 3D projects are more my thing!!  I have a few changes to make to the card but I think I like it (click on picture to see it larger).

I used the Level two hostess set "The More the Merrier" and those snowmen are going to get a lot of use this holiday season (the whole set is just darling!!!). The sentiment is from the Sparkly & Bright stamp set and I used the new Old Olive 1 1/4 Striped Ribbon. I love that ribbon so much I could marry it....just kidding.....last week one of Chase's friends told me that he loved my Sweet Tea so much he wanted to marry it.....isn't that a hoot?

The colors I used were Old Olive & the new Soft Suede.   Remember last week when I said you would like the new colors when we start using them with other colors?  Soft Suede is perfect when you need a almost chocolate color when Chocolate Chip is too dark.   Get this...my sofa is Soft Suede (and I've had it a few years).

Angie's extra notes:   Sorry I've been a little absent lately.  My to do list is a mile long and we've had some family things this summer.  Speaking of family, my nephew was attacked by a dog over the weekend and I'm looking for a book that would be good for a 5 & 8 year old that deals with being bitten by a dog.  Do you know of one?   Chase was bitten when he was little and I think it helped to show them his scars but I want to send him & my niece a little care package.  We just happened to be in town when it happened but now we're home and can't visit them.

I've been so out of the loop I wanted to share some of what I'm doing.   I'm creating a Forum discussion website for my Team members (I'm super excited and hope it works out the way I plan).   I re-arranged my office.  I had my computer and paperwork mixed in with my craft area and I needed to separate that.  My computer in my craft space kept reminding me I had computer work... but ...I'll always have computer work.  I'm going back to setting the timer and not moving until I'm done with what I started.   Lately I've found myself ping ponging around this room and finding that I'm doing too many things at once.  Are you guilty of that?   This could turn into a book so I better stop.   Thanks for stopping by!!

Holiday Collection Kit Card

 Good morning!!

I thought I had shown you this card....but I couldn't find it on my blog....It's the same card I showed you on Nov. 26th....   but I changed up the colors. (Click hereto view the other one.)  Instead of using a Rhinestone Brad in the center I used a 1/4" red circle and applied crystal effects to it. 

 Have you ever made a faux brad?  All you need is a circle and Crystal Effects (page 191 in the current catalog).  Very easy and it looks great good in the center of a flower too!

Good morning!!

I'll make this short and sweet.....Congrats to Shari Arciaga and Teresa Kremer :)  Shari you won the original Scratch n' Win and Teresa you won the one I added last night. I'll email you both in a little while. :)

Thanks for all the wonderful recipes!!! I have to ask....if anyone does not want their recipe printed in a recipe book....let me know.  I'm going to be asking some girls to help me figure out if it's doable.  It may be more typing that I can do....but we'll see. I need more time for my brain to process :)))  There are several duplicate recipes...how would that be handled....like I said.....million questions.

Today's card is an idea I took right out of a Paper Crafts magazine.  I used all our wonderful Stampin' Up! punches to make it.  I added a small piece of ribbon on the top....after I took the picture....just imagine...small Riding Hood Red Taffeta Bow right on top.  I also used the Ski Slope Designer Paper along with the designer paper found in the Holiday Collection kit (scraps left over from the ornament paper). 

 Don't forget..... December 15th, I'm giving away a free stamp set to one lucky person....the name will be drawn from everyone that purchases a Country Living Holiday Collection Kit from me!!

Fun & Fast Notes Stamp Set

Good morning!!

Today's card is from our shoebox swap....thanks Jennifer for bringing this cute card!!  We used the Fun & Fast Notes stamp set with Ski Slope Designer Paper.  The colors are Old Olive & Real Red. 

Thanksgiving was great!  Spending time with daddy and my whole family was much needed....it's bittersweet.....it's good to be home but sad that I won't get to see them for several months.

Holiday Wishes

  Good morning!

I just love today's card!! It's so easy to make and really pretty in person.  (I think this may be my Christmas card for this year.)

I used the snowflake from the Country Living Holiday Collection kit and stamped one with Kiwi Kiss and the other with Baja Breeze.  The gem in the middle came from a Rhinestone brad in the Pretties Kit and the larger scallop is the Scallop from the Pennant Big Shot Die.

Many Merry Messages

  Good morning!!

Today I'm sharing with you another card that we made at the Shoebox swap.  This was Sally's card and it's is another real keeper...don't you love it? 

The "Merry Christmas" came from the Many Merry Messages stamp set and we stamped it with Versa Mark and then embossed it with White Embossing powder.
