My Christmas Cards

I  had a different post for you today ...but my day isn't going the way I planned.  So, instead I'll show you my Christmas/Thank you cards.  They arrived today and I LOVE them!!

This first picture is the front of the card .....

And here's the inside ...it's a Trifold card and I made it in less than 2 minutes using My Digital Studio.  All I  had to do was insert the picture of Miss Bella ... add our names and send it to the Stampin Up printer. 

I used the SNOW FLURRIES STAMP BRUSH SET #128880 ($3.95) to make it....and the Trifold cards come pre-scored so all I have to do it fold it on the lines and stuff them in the envelopes.

Stitched Stockings Christmas Card

Today's card was made with the Stitched Stockings stamp set along with the Stocking Builder Punch.  Both of these items can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog. 

If you'd like to make this card here are the basic instructions.... the base of the card is Old Olive card stock.  Wrap the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding around the Letters to Santa Designer Paper and attach it to the Old Olive card stock.  Next stamp the stocking with Cherry Cobbler ink and again with Garden Green ink.  Cut out the pieces with the Stocking Builder Punch and add the stocking to Whisper White card stock with a Dimensional and add the rest of the layers.  Final step is add the Rhinestone.

Here are the measurements for the card stock:  Old Olive 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 and score @ 4-1/4, Letters to Santa Designer Paper 4 x 5-1/4, Whisper White 2 x 2-1/2, Riding Hood Red 2-1/4 x 2-1/2, Early Espresso 2-1/2 x 2-3/4.

Jolly Bingo Bits Christmas Card

This Christmas card was made with the Jolly Bingo Bits Stamp Set ..... and the "Merry Christmas" is from the Bright Hopes stamp set found in the Holiday Mini Catalog.

After you stamp the images you cut them out with the 1" Circle Punch and attach them to the Early Espresso card stock with a Stampin Dimensional.

Stamp Merry Christmas with the White Craft Ink and let it dry before you add the Pear Pizzazz Stitched Ribbon.

Snow Much Fun Card

I'm super excited to show you how to sew on your cards!!

My card uses the brand new Snow Much Fun stamp set along with the Punch Pals stamp set.

The base of my card is Soft Suede & I used the Pear Pizzazz DSP found in the In Color Designer Series Paper Stacks.

I stamped the images with Black Stazon ink and then colored them with the Aqua Painter.  The colors I used were:  Lucky Limeaid, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Peach Parfait and Riding Hood Red.

Gift Tags

   These are the Gift Tags I'm using these year.  I made 9 of them yesterday for my nieces and nephews. 

We used the Tags til Christmas stamp set with a variety of punches....that include the Curly Label Punch, XL Large Tag, Tag, 1-1/3 Circle and Ornament.

The colors we used are Real Red and Old Olive...and the gift tags measure 3 x 3.

Merry Crittermas Card

Today's card is another one of Jennifers cards...I love it! And we all know how much I love the Merry Critterrmas stamp set.

She used the Window sheets for the card front...the images are on the inside of the card and the sentiment is stamped with Black Stazon right on the window sheet.

Tags til Christmas

  

This is the same card that I showed you on Friday.... except that it's a different color....remember I said I made it several colors but the Espresso was my favorite?

I used the Tags til Christmas stamp set with the Decorative Label punch.

The card is a standard size.... 5-1/2 x 4-1/4.  The Brights Designer Paper has the Polka Dot paper and I cut it at 1" on one card and 1-1/4 on the other.

I'll be out of my office all day today. Our school district organized a trip to Nell Hills and I'm excited to go...it's been several years since I've made the trip.

One Layer Christmas Card

Quick post today...  I'm sharing with you my One layer Christmas card using the Welcome Christmas stamp set with the Christmas Greetings stamp set.

I love one layer cards and all you do to make this one is stamp the wreath with Old Olive ink, stamp Merry Christmas with Real Red and then color the berries with a Real Red Marker.

I gotta run....I have Stamp Club two times today :)

Simple Christmas Card

I love this card!! And I've made it using all sorts of colors...but I keep coming back to Old Olive & Early Espresso. 

I'm pretty sure it's not just me ....I've looked through all sorts of magazines and chocolate/brown is a color that's being used this holiday season.

To make this card I used the Tags til Christmas stamp set and punched the image out with the Decorative Label Punch.  The center strip measures 1-1/2" and is from the Brights Designer Stacks.

This card is easy to make and very affordable.  You could even make the center strip a tad thinner ....like 1" and you could get 24 cards made with one sheet of designer paper.

November Thank you Cards

My project today is my November thank you card..... I love one layer cards!!!

I used the Peaceful Season stamp set out of the Holiday Mini Catalog.  I embossed the Whisper White card stock with the Northern Flurry embossing folder, I stamped the greeting with Crumb Cake ink, sponged the edges with Crumb Cake and then lightly misted it with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with alcohol.

Christmas Collage

 

If you received week two of my 12 Weeks of Christmas ...this card is very similar.  I had a hard time deciding which I liked best!!  So, I'm going to share the other two on my blog.

I love the Christmas Collage background stamp!!! But ...if you decide to order it...you might want to also order Bells & Boughs stamp set on page 19 of the Holiday Mini Catalog. That way you could use the "Merry Christmas" greeting that matches this stamp.   I thought using the Curly Cute stamp set was a good choice....but...if I had the Bells & Boughs I would have used it!  (Ordered it yesterday.)

In person this card is really beautiful!! I wish I could make it shine on my blog the way it does in person....the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with rubbing alcohol adds the perfect touch to this card.

I really think this will be my card this year...still not sure which one I'll make..... but I ordered more Crumb Cake card stock & Crochet Trim yesterday.

A Cute Christmas Card

  This card was made using the same pieces I used making the Christmas Card Box ealier this week. Truth be told I actually lifted it...and attached it to a white piece of card stock.   You can call me lazy today :)

I used A cute Christmas stamp set & colored the trees with my Aqua Painter.  Click here if you'd like to see the video for the box.

I'll be streaming at noon tomorrow on UStream ....no plans yet .....this week has been crazy and it just keeps going.  Homecoming dance is tomorrow night and I get to be the driver....I'm excited ....I think :)

Candy Cane Monogram Card

My monogram card was made the the Candy Cane Christmas Designer Fabric .....yes you heard me right...I made this card using fabric from the Holiday Mini Catalog.   All you need is the Fabric adhesive with the Serif Essentials Alphabet (or any alphabet set you own).

Merry Crittermas stamp set

I cute love little critters and I've been begging for the Hedgehogs to return to our catalog...but the darling critters in the Merry Crittermas stamp set checks the box for me!!  I can't wait to show you all the images :)  The Holiday Mini Catalog goes live on September 1st.

Every year at Convention they have Prize Patrol and I haven't won since Convention was in Orlando many years ago (I think 2004) and it was worth the wait!  

I stamped the darling image on Whisper White card stock and punched it out with the 1 3/4 Circle Punch, added it to a Pink Pirouette 2 3/8 Scallop Circle.  I pierced the scallops with the paper piercer and added it with Stampin' Dimensionals.  The background image is from the Confetti stamp set & I stamped it with Pear Pizzazz ink.

Serene Snowflakes Stamp Set

Isn't this card beautiful?  I absolutely love it and would have never thought to use black. The Night & Day Specialty Paper is perfect for this card!  The Serene Snowflake stamp set is another one of those sets that I'll keep forever.  The snowflakes are so elegant & beautiful and I've certainly gotten my money's worth.

Did you notice how the Scallop Circle has the Frosted White Shimmer Paint on the edges?

Sweet Season Stamp Set

My card today was made with the Sweet Season Stamp set.  I used the Merry Moments designer paper & this pattern is my favorite in that assortment.
The "Merry Christmas" is in the Teeny Tiny Wishes on page 145. I love how most of the greetings fit in the Word Window Punch and then you can layer it with the Modern Label Punch.

This card measures 41/4 x 4 1/4 and it will always be my favorite size!!

Berry Christmas Stamp Set

This darling card was sent to me & I thought I was share it with you today.  I'm not sure you can see it but the red parts in the wreath are little punches made with the Crop a Dile.  She used the Berry Christmas stamp set with Real Red & Certainly Celery.

The Very Vanilla cardstock was embossed with the Petals a Plenty Impressions Folder.

I'll retake a picture when the sun comes out....it was a cloudy day here in Kansas!
