Forest Friends Fancy Favor Box

Good afternoon!

Today I'm sharing another one of my August club projects.  It's the Fancy Favor Box and if you watch the video, you'll get a peek at the one I'll be posting on my blog tomorrow.  (One of my goals this year is to show you how to get more bang for your buck....for example this box tomorrow will look very different and all you need to do it trim it just a tad.)

 

To make this box you'll need the Big Shot Die Cut Machine and the Fancy Favor Box Die.

True Friend thanks

  

Hi,

A quick post tonight....I'm still working on getting the box how I'd like it. I used the Tea Party Designer paper with the True Friends stamp set.  And, I used the super cute Flower Brads to attach the handle to the box.

My card is simple and easy and I like it!  The greeting came from the Three Little Words stamp set.

Dave was home sick again today and I'm happy to report he went to the doctor and was given some medicine.  Let's pray he goes back to work soon....I'm not sure how many more days I can take :)  you know what I mean?

Cheep Talk Stationery Box

Good morning! 

Today's project is my Cheep Talk Stationery Boxand it's similar to the one we made at Leadership, except I had to put my on twist on it and make it a bit wider.  I used the Good Morning Sunshine Designer paper & the Cheep Talk stamp set.

Good morning!!

Thanks again for all the lovely comments yesterday.  Some of you made me laugh and  some almost made me cry....I needed a cheering up and mission accomplished!!  (My sister and I read comments last night and had a hoot laughing...based on what some of you wrote...I know that was your intentions...thank you...we southern girls love to laugh!!!) 

Okay, I think I've typed enough at the top....if you're in one of my clubs and want to be surprised....don't look :)

I'm so excited to show you this project!!! I learned how to make it at Convention & I couldn't wait to get home and make one. I was trying to wait and use some other new designer paper....but I love the Bella Rose so much I gave in.....here's the picture..

This is a cookbook bookmark. Isn't it darling?  All  my club members are making them this month....and I already filmed the video and it's ready to go....except I'm waiting for it to load.  You should be able to view in on my Stampin' Academy by noon.  Video is ready for viewing, click here to watch it.

Stampers Club Projects

Hi,
I'm back for a 2nd time today :)  Here's a picture of all the projects that we made yesterday. 

The first project was the Altoid Tin and because the Stampin' Up! Designer paper is two sided they were able to choose the side they wanted.  The 2nd project was the Pocket card holder.  Half of them made the Groovy Guava & the other half made the Soft Sky.  Next is the 3 x 3 Monograms cards with envelopes.  And the final project is the Mini Clipboard. There's two in the picture...one with a sticky note & one without.

I'm a person that uses sticky notes all day long!!  in fact they are everywhere and because I have so many, they're kinda getting lost in the shuffle....so my quick fix....I attached this little clipboard to my purse yesterday.  I had several errands to run before club.....but those two on my clipboard were the most important...then after that whatever else I could get done..... was a bonus (that means large Route 44 drink at Sonic - that held me all day long).

For those of you that have looked for these clipboards and couldn't find them, not to worry, I have a solution I'm working on & should finish it soon.

p.s. here's a little story for you.....I got a new Centro Cell phone with Sprint and I love it!!! I've used a Palm Pilot for years...in fact I could not live without it....anyway back to my story.  Since the phone is new, I haven't learned all the bells & whistles...so yesterday right about the time I started to explain the club projects we all heard a noise and it stopped me right in my tracks. I was like someone just got a text message or something.  we all looked around....everyone could account for their phone...but me...so I got up, went to my phone and sure enough it was me and what did it say....Stampers Club at 11:30.  Oh My Gosh,  how cool was that?  But the sound was so foreign to me... next time I'll be prepared :)  I love all this new technology!

Club Projects

Good morning!

Today is Stampers Club Day and this is one of the projects we're making..... isn't it darling? This pocket card holds three 3 x 3 cards with envelopes!

I took several pictures and couldn't decide which one I liked best....so I'll show you all of them at the end of my post :) 

I bet some of you are trying to figure out what image I used around the Lovely  Letters Alphabet.....look on page 153, the Taking Care of Business stamp set.  I cut the word Special right out of the middle :)  and now I have a bigger circle border to go around my larger alphabets!!
