My card today is using some new product and I'm counting the days until the new Stampin' Up! Catalog goes live on May 31st.  Mark your calendars .. I'll be doing a LIVE Stream on Friday (May 31st) to go over the new catalog with you.  I'll announce the time later next week (it will be in the evening).

I used the Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper and it's just one of the awesome papers that's included in my Product Shares this year.  If you've already got your hands on our new Catalog .. you know there are some really cute Designer Series Papers this year!!

The base of my card is Soft Sky and I choose that color just so I could use my new photo prop (bowl).

People always ask me where I get my photo props so I'll try to include those in the future ... this bowl came from the Anthropologie store and it cost $2.50 ... I couldn't snatch it up fast enough!!!  I wish I had bought a few more .... so I could eat my fruit from it.  If you've ever read the book Simple Abundance  ... you get it. I surround myself with little things that put a smile on my face. For example ....every day I use a real silver spoon to stir my coffee (found them at a antique store for a couple bucks).

Let's get back to the card ... The layer at the bottom is one of the new In-Colors called Baked Brown Sugar and when you purchase the "I want it all Product Shares Bundle" you'll receive a card stock sampler of all the new In-Colors.

I made this card a few weeks ago ... and was going to share it tomorrow...because today is Digital Download day.

But ... I decided to share it today .. because we're all thinking about you Oklahoma!! Our thoughts and prayer are with you and our hearts went out to you when you were looking for your children.  Saying those words just don't seem to be enough  .. but all we can do is pray.

Some of you have ask about the Product Shares and I was thinking about not doing them because of the time it takes ... but I've decided that the best way to handle it is offer them for a limited time.  What that means is ... we'll offer them for 45 days and after that we'll only continue to offer them if there's a huge demand. Please let me explain .....

Last year I sent several catalogs to addresses that were no longer valid.  And to this day I've never received those catalogs back from the Post Office.   (To go even further .. in all the years I've shipped kits and catalogs .. only one lost package has ever made it back to me .. I wonder where they go?)

Since I pay for the catalogs and the shipping for my Preferred Customers  ... I need to make sure I have the correct address on file.   This is a business and I can not afford to lose money.

I have several customers that move often and if you've moved a few times you know it's a lot of work to change your address (with everyone).  So, after two years in a row of having that problem .... I looked for a system that would allow me to capture the addresses at the same time.

I think the sign up form has worked beautifully and I'm sorry if it confused you!

Once all the Stampin' Up! Catalogs have shipped ... the mailing list will be trashed and you will not be solicited for anything.

Just a quick note this morning ....

I'm home from Tennessee and I made it safe and sound!

I'm so thankful my husband was at the airport to pick me up .. the storms were crazy! I seriously thought we were driving right into a tornado (the wind and the sky was horrible). Yes, my flight was right in the middle of the worst part!

I don't have a stamping project for you today ... but I'm sharing with you a picture of my sister and cousin.  Kim is on the left .... I'm on the right and Tina is in the middle.  We call Kim Faux Angie or Faux Chic n Scratch because she's gone to Stampin' Up! events with me and everyone thinks she's me ... we even talk and laugh alike (as kids our teachers got us confused .... but I'm two and a half years older).

I'll give you a little heads up .. it's going to take me a couple days to get back into the swing of things.  I'm emotional ... I'm tired and also missing my family in Tennessee. It's so nice to see them ..... but when I come home I get very weepy.   Truth be told I'd like to lock myself in a room with my sewing machine ... what do you do when you're really sad?

If you have an urgent matter .. please feel free to call me ... otherwise I'll do my best to get caught up on emails ...but I also have to unpack, go grocery shopping and do laundry .. just typing that stresses me out more.

My card today is my submission for Chic Challenges CC 04.

I used a combination of the Best of Butterflies stamp set ... along with the Artistic Etchings Stamp Set that will soon be retiring.

I used the French Script Background stamp on the Crumb Cake card stock (you could use En Francais Background) with Basic Gray ink.  I also sponged the edges with Basic Gray ink.

This picture shows how I added another butterfly using Stampin Dimensionals.

• Crumb Cake - 11 x 4-1/4  score @ 5-1/2, 2 x 5-1/2
• First Edition Specialty Paper - 1-7/8 x 5-1/2, scraps for butterfly
• Basic Black - 2-7/8 x 5-1/2

Here's the Stampin' Up! supply list:

• Stamps:  Best of Butterflies 133345, Artistic Etchings 118517 (W) 120573 (C), En Francais Background 109521
• Ink:  101406 Black Stazon, 126981 Basic Gray

Card Instructions:

1. Score the 11 x 4-1/4 Crumb Cake card stock at 5-1/2” to form card base.
2. Stamp background on the Crumb Cake card stock with Basic Gray ink and the En Francais background stamp. Sponge edges with Basic Gray ink.
3. Scallop edges of the Black card stock with the Scallop Edge Border Punch and place on front of card using Stampin Dimensionals.
4. Sponge Crumb Cake card stock with Basic Gray ink and attach on top of the Basic Black layer.
5. Stamp images on the First Edition Paper and then sponge edges with Basic Gray ink and add on top of the Crumb Cake card stock.
6. Stamp another butterfly on a scrap piece of First Edition paper and cut it out with scissors .. add on top of butterfly with Stampin Dimensionals.
7. Add Basic Pearls to butterfly using the Paper Piercer.

I'm so very sorry!!! I'm seriously behind on everything! On top of personal stuff .... I spent over 6 hours yesterday dealing with a printer / internet issue.  I'm happy to say Chase fixed it.  I can't believe I didn't ask for his help sooner ..what was I thinking? He works at Geek Squad!!

Just a quick note again today .... I hope all of you had a wonderful Mother's Day!!

My weekend was pretty fantastic .. Dave and I went flower shopping and spent all day Saturday and Sunday planting everything.  I can't wait until they grow so I can take some pictures!

I received this card from my upline Jill for being in the Top 30 in Sales. (I'm her 5th level downline.)

She used the Chevron Embossing Folder on the base of the card and and the colors are Calypso Coral and Lucky Limeade.  (I'll miss Lucky Limeade when it retires ... even though I mis-spelled it for most of it's life.)

She used the Oh Hello stamp set and I'm sure glad to see this set in the NEW Stampin' Up! Catalog!!

I'm in a rush today .. Chase has his cat scan this morning and I'm running behind!  (We'll get the results when we see his doctor again on the 23rd.)

My card today is a Tent Topper card and it's for my Stamp Kit of the Month Club.

The stamp set is Best of Butterflies and it was the Best of stamp sets for the month of April (but it's available all year to purchase).  I LOVE it!

• Fold Whisper White card stock in half at 4" (8 x 4).
